High-reliability, 3-node Datacore-based high-reliability project and central back up for Sant'Orsola and all ASL in Bologna on Commvault technology

The 3Cime Technology portfolio is enriched with a new prestigious client: the S. Orsola-Malpighi hospital. In detail, we implemented a high-reliability hyperconvergence project based on 3-node DataCore technology and centralized back-up for the Sant'Orsola and the entire ASL of Bologna, based on Commvault technology. We have also designed a Disaster Recovery system.

With the introduction of the storage virtualization system in hyperconvergent mode and through the DataCore software it was possible to create a highly reliable infrastructure on campus, implementing a synchronous pair-based mirroring system on three nodes. With Business Continuity guaranteed, the backup system with Commvault technology (also at the management console level) was redesigned, centralizing the backup copies in a single site. The service offered also includes a second copy of Disaster Recovery at the Lepida data center.

The installation service, with the consequent configuration, of the new backup and Disaster Recovery environment was carried out in accordance with the Commvault technology thanks to which we were able to redesign the entire infrastructure.

Installation and configuration of the new backup and disaster recovery environment based on Commvault technology

We have reingenierized, thanks to the Commvualt technology, the entire backup system of the City of Bologna, also introducing a disaster recovery solution. Today, thanks to our realization, the customer makes a copy of his local data, but also a copy of the Lepdia DC, which can also provide the virtual resident for the machine restart.
